DeFi Kingdoms (DFK) is the first multi-chain play and earn game in the metaverse gaming sector. You can play in either Serendale (Klaytn Blockchain) or Crystalvale (DFK Chain, an Avalanche Subnet), using DFK Hero dynamic NFTs that are full RPG characters with stat blocks, consumable resources like HP, MP, and Stamina, as well as a leveling system. Your Hero(es) can easily bridge between the realms to explore both the lush lands of Serendale and the icy tundra of Crystalvale. Key Features: Summoning: Heroes are summoned through a dimensional portal by combining the genes of two existing Heroes and paying a summoning cost. Since there are so many parts that make up a Hero, each new NFT has a unique combination of appearance, class, and stats. Summoning is an art and a science, but with significant elements of chance as well. Every summon has a chance to produce an extremely rare and valuable Hero to play with or trade! Questing: Heroes are able to go on various quests within the kingdom. Profession Quests allow Heroes to gather in-game resources, earn additional tokens from the Gardens, and unlock tokens early, all while gaining experience and increasing their profession skill. Heroes can also participate in Training Quests that require them to utilize their stats to achieve certain goals, engage in dialogue with NPCs, and travel the map to successfully complete. Pets: Heroes can sometimes find eggs that they may hatch into rare Pet NFTs that will accompany them on their adventures. These pets can grant stat bonuses, provide bonuses to abilities, and more. Each pet that is hatched has a chance of being a different rarity, similar to Heroes, and the number and magnitude of bonuses they receive is based on that rarity and randomness. DFK Duel: A minigame that is based on your hero cards various stats and gives players the opportunity to let their Heroes duel against other Heroes. Playing Duels awards Raffle tickets, which can be used at the Raffler NPC in the Castle. Combat: Heroes will be able to participate in 3v3 combat against other players both for fun and to compete for wagers. Additionally, periodic tournaments will be held that reward winning teams from the quest fund. Maximize your stats and take your rightful place as the world champion! PvP is still in development. Power-Ups: Power-Ups are a collection of in-game enhancements that are available to players that hold governance tokens. DeFi Liquidity Pools: In each realm, the Gardens is a place to stake liquidity pool tokens to receive a share of Power Token emissions ($CRYSTAL in Crystalvale and $JADE in Serendale). Through DeFi Kingdoms, Decentralized Finance becomes accessible to all as it enables players to utilize gamified mechanics to participate in everyday DeFi activities. Governance Tokens: Players can stake into the protocol with the Jeweler. This allows those who want to support the project for the long term to have more of a say and receive a larger share of the rewards. Benefits to staking include governance, fee distribution, in-game enhancements and premium feature access (Power-Ups), and token locking. Ecosystem & Power Tokens Ecosystem Token: JEWEL acts as the main token of value in the metaverse game, giving it utility above and beyond that of a regular coin. It is the Ecosystem token that is used across realms. In addition to being the native gas token on DFK Chain, JEWEL is used for staking at the Jeweler for governance rights, fee distribution opportunities, and in-game Power-Ups. Players who stake JEWEL tokens receive cJEWEL in Crystalvale and sJEWEL in Serendale. Power Tokens With the expansion of DeFi Kingdoms: Crystalvale onto the DFK Chain, each realm now also has its own dedicated Power Token, which is used for all game transactions, such as purchasing Hero and Pet NFTs, summoning new Heroes and hatching Pets, leveling Heroes, and more. Power Tokens can be swapped in the DEX for other tokens and in-game items, pooled for liquidity, and are emitted by the Gardens in each realm. The Power Token in Crystalvale is CRYSTAL, while the Power Token in Serendale on Klaytn is JADE. Fee Distribution: The Power Token fees from every in-game transaction, as applicable, are apportioned to the respective wallets for each realm as follows: 15% - Burned 10% - LP Staking Rewards 15% - Jeweler Rewards (cJEWEL / sJEWEL) 30% - Quest Reward Fund (DFK Chain / Klaytn) 30% - Development Fund CRYSTAL and JADE are the lifeblood of our project and have features that provide players the opportunity to earn while playing rather than buying games and subscriptions with no potential to recoup costs spent. In DeFi Kingdoms, good gameplay decisions and a little luck have the potential to reward players with actual crypto tokens while they play a game they enjoy. Utility Since both CRYSTAL and JADE share much of the same utility (for example, they can both be used to mint new NFTs), the value of the tokens is linked. This provides exciting arbitrage opportunities across blockchains and ensures that cross-chain expansion does not lead to a loss of value for older tokens.
